I get this crash when use ALT + L to load file
I build it on debian stretch from currect cvs code.
i know that syncdraw is not very active, but i like it it's simple a native
for linux =)
I just committed an untested. Please try that. Looks like the code assumed 8.3
filenames would be loaded only.

im testing, still crash.
1)actual pwd is syncdraw source
open syncdraw, ALT + L , now i see the load screen but crash after about
1 or 2 seconds.
